Hello, I’m Jay from Singapore 👋
More than ten years ago, I stumbled across the idea of making money online while you sleep — and it lit a fire in me. The promise of passive income and freedom was too compelling to ignore.
I started with affiliate marketing, building small niche websites and leaning hard on Google SEO. Back then, if you picked the right keywords and wrote decent content, you could rank overnight and see commissions rolling in. For a while, it felt like magic. But then the inevitable happened: Google changed its algorithm. What once worked stopped working, and the niche site model began to crumble.
That was my first big lesson: you can’t build your future on a single platform’s rules.
So I pivoted. I went into e-commerce, launching products on Amazon FBA. Again, the early results were exciting — steady sales, strong growth, a real taste of what was possible. But as years passed, the competition on Amazon exploded. Margins got tighter, advertising costs climbed, and the landscape became crowded with thousands of sellers fighting for the same customers.
Through all of this, one truth became crystal clear: to build a resilient online business, you need to be adaptable, diverse, and willing to evolve.
